EU and International Cooperation

In close cooperation with the European Union (EU) and its institutions, the State Ministry of the Environment and Public Health seeks to improve the quality of the environment, achieve a high standard of public health in the EU and to protect our natural resources essential for human life. The objective of our contacts is to introduce key concerns of Bavaria into the European development, EU legislation and the harmonization of law enforcement. Furthermore, the Ministry actively maintains relations with regions and states throughout the world. International cooperation focuses on the transfer of know-how as well as the support of sustainable development.
